How many things have you done to change your car? Past ownership included. To save a profile for a DSM specific forum I had to list all my mods for the GSX and thought, by golly....
I have the heavily modified Japanese import the 14 year old me always wanted! Even though its not any of the cars I or anyone else really coveted as a 14 year old. I guess I sortof have a 2 door Evo 3 without the clutch type LSD (mine's viscous)...but you buy evo 1-6's partly because they look like anime robots. My 1GB Eclipse looks like a 240SX fucked an Oldsmobile Alero or something
But 6/7 years ago my Audi coupe was dead, I was coming off an Oldsmobile Bravada hangover and wanted a cheap college car/ tuner project and I bought it for $2500 already beating C5 Z06's (in a straight line), whaddaya want.
So here are mine, as they appear on dsmtunesers.com ...what about youuu Oppo community?

Driven lots of fast cars but sometimes i feel like I've had a pretty tame ownership for a car person. Then I remember I've done something to every single car I've owned, albeit corny, especially the slow ones! Although it was mostly out of spite. 1st car-green handmedown '92 camry. Had a shop install green glow wire all around the dash, I'm 16 and its the year 2000! 1st SUV- 01 Tahoe ltd with those stupid ass LED valve stems and a sound system! 2nd SUV- 01' white Oldsmobile Bravada! Fuck it, blue neons that pulse with the music under every seat!
The Audis, volkswagen and Mitsu I've owned all had tasteful performance upgrades but its the thought that counts.
A prelude to my car intro because "of happenings" it should be running by thanksgiving!

When you say "past ownership included" do you mean mods done by previous owners to the car you now own, or mods you did to a car you used to own?

I've had a few modified cars, though by far the plans for the Miata I have currently are the most extensive. Here's what I've had:
2005 Mazda6 S hatchback ("sold" 3.5 years ago): Bilstein HD shocks, Mazdaspeed "hatch" springs (got swapped out for Tein SS coilovers 6 months before it left my hands), Mazdaspeed CAI, MSDS short tube headers, O2 sims, Magnaflow spun cat, Magnaflow CBE, Racingbeat F& R swaybar, 18x7.5" ASA AR1 wheels (street use), 17x7.5 Enkei RPF1 wheels with 225/45 Brigestone RE01-R tires (autocross), Smoked LED corner markers and rear reflectors hooked up to the brake lights & running lights in the read and running & blinker in the front (they had dual intensity LEDs so you could hook them up to 2 sources), ETC (electronic throttle controller, allowed you to adjust the throttle to make it more or less sensitive to inputs), LED retrofit (including better projectors and such, and yes it was aimed properly so I wasn't blinding anyone), SS braided brake lines, AWR 70 duro rear engine mount, AWR adjustable endlinks front and rear. and that's it that I can recall. This was a great car, and handeled 3 years of monthly autocross events like a champ and the only reason I got rid of it when I did is my cousin's car died completely (transmission ate itself and they didn't have the money to fix it), and my folks bought my car from me to give to her.
2010 MINI Cooper S (sold last year): Koni FSD shocks, Helix short shift adaptor, Alta AP w/93 octane "stage 1" tune (more aggressive map for a stock motor), Defenders of Speed CAI, exhaust resonator delete, and changed out the crappy all season run flats for a set of 205/50 R16 Bridgestone RE760's. Probably the most hysterically fun car I've ever owned, got damn good mileage even when I was driving it lie a loon, was decently quick, handled great and was basically an overgrown gokart, I still miss it even after trading it for a Focus ST, and honestly wish I could have kept it.
1999 Mazda Miata: Flyin Miata V Maxx "sport" coilovers, full polyurethane bushing replacement kit from FM, Hawk HPS pads front and rear, SS braided brake lines from FM, and that's all for this year, next year she'll get a new clutch and flywheel from FM as well as some body work, then a better wheel and tire package as well as header/cat/CBE combo from FM, then it'll be on to the interior (new seats, preferably single piece buckets, if I can score some out of an Elise I will absolutely jump on them). After that, who knows, FI perhaps, or high compression N/A build? *shrug* this is a car I bought specifically to wrench on and have fun with on the track, and on twisty back roads up in the TX hill country.

*gasp* i just saw a mazda 6 wagon at the track and whispered white buffaloooo ...
When I worked at the dealership I test drove an 09 Cooper S up a twisty hill at 9/10th's just wide eyed at how fast I was going through corners with little steering input. Yap, the bridgestone purchases alone have autocrosser dude written all over.
There's the wife of some SCCA official with that era MX5, white with silver racing stripes, flyin miata turbo kit and suspension bits I get tots jelly over whenever they have it at the track. Looked fast as sh*t peered from The Glen bleachers when they took it through an autox they were having along with a track event. I tried chatting her & her girlfriend up at a stoplight just too tempting.

Mine was a hatch rather than a wagon, though the wagons look damn good too, especially in black with the pre-facelift sport bumpers and grill. For crazy ones though, there is a guy in NY with a white 6 sedan that's running a TT setup and putting out something like 5-600hp.
The mini actually never saw autocross duty, as it was a time when I couldn't afford to be buying tires yearly. That said towards the end of my time with it, I did take it to a lapping day at a track nearby, and it did go on a roadtrip out to Deals Gap (the thing was so at home on the Dragon it was hilarious).
The miata is going to start getting used for autocross duty next year as I am gettign back to a place where I can financially afford it again, I'm also planning a couple rallycross events as well, eventually I'll also use it for some track days too, but I want to upgrade the chassis and safety equipment first.

I dig the sapre wheel shaving! The fenders and lines of a ford pickup will never not be sexy to me...Was the LT block hard to find? I swear an accurately priced LS block is easier to find nowadays

...God dammit I want to drive your Mr2 it screams mid engine go kart...shit and the Cressida was the trans/ rear end swap hard? I've only gotten to drive a 2nd gen MR2 with a too-big turbo while that was kinda fun it was not balanced.

Dammit why do you have to win at everything? Alls I want is a prerunner Ranger or Tacoma...I'm srsly investigating half finished projects with trailing arm suspension. Damn you, racingjunk.com... The GSX is eventually going the way of a caged rally club racer, but there are so many advantages to trucks..One being they look more badass

My grandpa found it in the nickel ads in the early 90s. He bought the motor complete for I think he said 400 bucks. Drag raced it for awhile as a stock LT-1 till the "I need to go faster" bug bit.
350 4 bolt mains are still easy to find . It's the early small blocks like 327s that are getting hard to find. 68 327s and 67 350s are the hardest because they are one year only small blocks

I think I've seen that 6 on the internets its insane, yet classy. I'd love another shot behind the wheel of a Cooper S it just felt so at home on the twisties.
YES rallycross all the things...within reason some courses are rough as sh*t and filled with sharp rocks like the last one I took a leased Volkswagen to. Fun though

I've heard a camaro with a worked 327 revving and it sounded different and it sounded great. The dream is a -'67 Camaro fuel injected, my thoughts initially were an Lt1 but I dunno. Its the most desirable first-musclecar for me

If you do your research and get the right parts the first time, everything bolts up more or less for the Cressida. Not difficult at all.

the 327 is a high revving motor, due the short stoke. With some work a 327 will hit 10k rpm.
I would avoid a 92-97 LT1 or at least get rid of the opti spark worst design ever. I had a 97 Z28 and I'm so glad I traded it for a ls1 car
